Three Types of Buyer
Our buyers fall into three main categories. Understanding which category you fit helps us recommend the right products, quantities and market strategy for your situation.
The largest category of our buyers — traders who import full or partial containers of used clothing bales and other products for resale in their destination market. They buy in bulk, load containers from our Melbourne warehouse and sell to wholesale or retail customers in West Africa, East Africa, the Pacific Islands, Asia, the Middle East or Europe. Most order from us regularly once they establish their market.
Buyers — particularly in the UAE — who import used clothing from multiple source countries, sort and grade the product locally, and redistribute onward across the wider Middle East, Africa or Asia. These buyers are experienced operators who understand product quality differences between source countries and actively seek out Australian-sourced product for its quality advantage.
Buyers who purchase bales to sell through their own market stall, second-hand shop, online resale operation or community network. Domestic buyers typically purchase smaller quantities than container exporters — Minimum Order Quantity May Apply and varies by product. These buyers value the quality and variety of Australian-sourced product for their local customer base.

to Container Loaded
The process is straightforward — no complex forms, no lengthy approvals. Call or email us, tell us what you need, and we'll take it from there. Here is how a typical first order works from initial contact to your container loading in Melbourne.
We work with both new and experienced exporters. If you're new to importing used clothing bales, we're happy to explain the products, typical quantities and what to expect in your first container. If you're an experienced buyer, we'll get straight to stock availability and pricing.
Call or email with your destination country, the products you want and approximate quantities. If you're unsure what to order, tell us your destination market and we'll recommend a product mix based on what sells well there.
We come back to you with current stock availability and pricing for your requested products. You can adjust quantities, swap products or ask questions at this stage — no commitment yet.
Once you're happy with the product mix and pricing, confirm your order and we'll schedule loading at our South East Melbourne warehouse. Minimum Order Quantity May Apply — we'll confirm this for your specific order.
We prepare and load all ordered products from our South East Melbourne warehouse into your container. All products — clothing bales, footwear sacks, bag sacks, textiles, soft toys — are loaded together in one container.
Your container departs from Melbourne to your destination port. Shipping and freight arrangements can be discussed at enquiry stage — we work with buyers at all stages of freight experience.
What to Expect When You
Buy Used Clothing Bales
We believe in honest, clear communication about our products. Here is what every buyer — new or experienced — should understand before placing their first order with us.
Every bale is a genuine random mix from Australian household sourcing. The garment types, styles and brands within a bale reflect what comes through our collection channels — no two bales are identical. Summer bales always reflect Australian summer clothing styles: t-shirts, shorts, casual wear, lightweight garments.
We do not grade our bales as "Grade A" or any other quality rating. Our product is genuine used household clothing — the condition reflects normal use from Australian households. Some garments are near-new; others show normal wear. This is the nature of used clothing bales from any source country.
Women's, men's and kids' summer bales are always kept separate — they are never mixed together. This is important for buyers who need to sell by gender category in their market. Winter bales are mixed gender (women's, men's and kids' together) — this is clearly stated on all winter product pages.
Minimum Order Quantity May Apply across all products. The specific MOQ depends on the product type and your order. Contact us with your requirements and we'll confirm the minimum for your specific situation — we work with buyers at different volume levels.
Our summer bales contain Australian summer clothing — lightweight garments well suited to warm-climate markets. Our winter bales contain jackets, coats, jumpers, hoodies and knitwear — suitable for cooler markets or buyers who sell seasonal product. Winter bales are mixed gender; summer bales are separate by gender.
Women's summer mix bales carry a 10% bulk discount on qualifying orders — the only product category where a bulk discount applies. Enquire when requesting pricing to confirm whether your order qualifies. All other product categories are priced at standard rates.
